We are one of the largest specialist mental health and learning disabilities trusts in the country, with an annual income of £320m and a workforce of some 6,700 staff operating from around 100 sites in Durham, Teesside, North Yorkshire and York and Selby. We provide a range inpatient and community services to 2m people living in County Durham, the Tees Valley, Scarborough, Whitby, Ryedale, Harrogate, Hambleton and Richmondshire. We also provide additional specialist services to other parts of Northern England.

We deliver our services by working in partnership with eight local authorities and clinical commissioning groups, a wide range of voluntary organisations, as well as service users, their carers and the public. North Durham Early Interventions in Psychosis (EIP) Team require a highly motivated practitioner to join our dynamic team providing and promoting early identification and intervention for people with psychosis between the ages of 14 and up to working age adult.

You will be an innovative, creative, practitioner, wanting to develop yourself but also able to contribute to the on-going development of the service.

Applications are invited from those with a relevant professional qualification eg RMN/DipSW, Diploma/Degree in OT or equivalent, who has the ability to work independently and has awareness of EIP services.

We are also accepting applications from individuals who are currently employed by TEWV and are in their final year of the Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship.

The post holder will be responsible for supervised care co-ordination and co-working of identified clients, ensuring appropriate assessments, intervention and treatment within programs of care.
