What will the apprentice be doing?
This apprenticeship is based on the HNC Construction in the Built Environment. You will cover all aspects of construction from the foundations to the roof and everything external and internal inbetween. It is a supervision role on site and the apprentice will be expected to take on responsibility as they progress.
The project is the construction of a Special Needs School in Burgess Hill and you will be involved in all aspects of the construction process.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
This apprenticeship is a new Standard Qualification titled "Construction Site Supervisor" at Level 4 which is equivalent to an HNC.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Typically you would advance onto a 3 year program of training to gain a level 5 & 6 qualification in a Construction subject. Level 6 being a degree.
