What will the apprentice be doing?
Working in our Commercial Team, you'll learn how we design and build new infrastructure, repair and maintain and enhance existing assets across our water and wastewater network. You'll get to work closely with our Project and Commercial Managers to deliver projects efficiently, making sure we manage our contracts robustly and to agreed timelines.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Within our Commercial team you will complete the Chartered Surveyor Degree Apprenticeship allowing you to develop the skills & experience required to become an expert Quantity Surveyor . You'll combine on-the-job learning with formal, nationally recognised development training.
A Personal Development Plan will help drive your career progression, set, agreed & regularly reviewed with your line manager
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
At the end of your training, as long as you pass your end point assessment and have met your performance targets throughout your Apprenticeship, you will be offered an opportunity in a permanent role with us.
You'll take up a Quantity Surveyor role in our Commercial team where you'll get to make a real difference.

Qualifications
GCSE or equivalent x 5 GCSE's including Maths and EnglishEnglish (Grade Grade 4 or above) Essential
A Level or equivalent at least 2 A-Levels in any subject (Grade Grade C or above) Essential

Based on the level of this Apprenticeship Programme we require candidates to be educated to level 3 qualification (A-Levels, BTEC National, NVQ/SVQ Level 3) If you are unable to meet this requirement, we do have a number of other apprenticeships available that you may be eligible for, please visit our apprentice website.
