What will the apprentice be doing?
This bespoke role includes rotations throughout Pre-Construction, Production, Surveying and Technical disciplines. Each placement tends to last 12 weeks; however, depending on the candidate, there is opportunity to extend a rotation beyond this period. As is there opportunity to deviate from the core disciplines for short episodes.
The role of the appprentice is diverse within the first year at the business and is designed to gain maximum exposure of the industry, learning from varied build contracts at different stages of completion.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The qualification starts with the Construction Site Supervision Level 4 apprenticeship, then progressing to the level 6 Construction Management Apprenticeship or the Quantity Surveying L6 Apprenticeship on completion to achieve the full degree apprenticeship. There is opportunity to acheive RICS or CIOB status.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
On completion of the four rotations you will progress in to your chosen department and have the opportunity to develop your career in that discipline.
