What will the apprentice be doing?
Our Programme provides you with structured career development, working alongside our industry experts. As part of our growing team of almost 650 dedicated employees, you'll collaborate and engage with colleagues through a combination of home and office-based working from either our Bristol, Swindon, Birmingham or Manchester Rail Design Hubs.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
We've partnered with Sheffield Hallam University, to offer a fully funded, ground-breaking Programme where you'll gain a BEng (Hons) Rail Engineering Degree, working on live high-profile rail projects such as the £2.9bn Transpennine Route and Electrification Upgrade (TRU) or the multi-billion-pound Wales and Borders Contract.
Your first year of study will be focussed on all aspects of railway engineering before specialising in one of our specifically designed pathways, from year two onwards:
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
You'll be empowered to play your part and achieve, encouraged to fulfil your own ambition as well as our shared one.
If you want professional development, accelerated career progression, an environment that encourages entrepreneurial spirit, it's all here for you, at Amey.
