The Government has announced (subject to parliamentary approval) that all NHS staff who are deployed as part of CQC regulated activities and who have face-to-face contact with patients and/or service users (including incidental contacts) will need to have both their first and second Covid vaccines by 1 April 2022. Therefore, before submitting any application for employment, please note that it will be a condition of any offer of employment that, where the role falls within the scope of these regulations, you must satisfy these requirements unless you belong to one of the groups who are exempt, which are:
  • Those under the age of 18
  • Those who are clinically exempt
  • Those who are exempt due to a short term medical condition. Pregnant women may choose to exercise this exemption - however this expires 16 weeks after giving birth.

This excellent opportunity has arisen to join the maternity team as a Maternity Support Worker.

We have opportunities in out inpatient services based at Pinderfield's Hospital.

We are looking for people:
  • With previous clinical experience in health & social care relevant to the role
  • Advanced level apprenticeship Level 3
  • Care Certificate
  • Who would like to work on the maternity wards?
  • Who want to support the provision of excellent care to our women and families
  • With IT skills
