Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetic| Theatre | Band 5/6 dependent on experience | Liverpool | Full Time, No Nights.

Spire Liverpool are now recruiting a Theatre Practitioner to join their welcoming and supportive team. This role is open to newly qualified staff who have their HCPC or MNC registration and offers excellent career development opportunities.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Act as anaesthetic assistant
  • Preparing the theatre for the following day's lists
  • Monitor patient's condition during surgery
  • Act as part of the hospital Resus Team

Who we're looking for:
  • You will be a HCPC registered ODP or an NMC registered Nurse
  • Excellent communication and organisation is key to continue our high standards of patient care.
  • An interest in development and progression is encouraged and reinforced, Our onsite education team will keep you up to date with BLS and ILS and you will be provided with your ALS training.

Mandatory Vaccination - New legislation from 1 April 2022: As of 1 April 2022, Spire Healthcare is required to comply with new statutory requirements, meaning that we can only lawfully engage staff who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19, or are officially exempt. This applies to workers aged 18 and over, who have direct, face to face contact with patients and any staff in scope of the regulations, will be required to provide suitable evidence that they have received two doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine, by no later than 1 April 2022, unless they can show that they are officially exempt.

The regulations will apply to frontline clinical workers as well as non-clinical workers not directly involved in patient care but who nevertheless may have direct, face to-face contact with patients, such as receptionists, ward clerks, porters and cleaners at any point, or, individuals employed in our central support services who need to attend our hospitals from time to time. If this role is determined to be in scope of the mandatory vaccination requirements, you will be informed; Spire Healthcare therefore urges all applicants to consider this before applying. Any offer to a person in a role described above, will be conditional upon proof of evidence of an approved vaccination or, official exemption.
