As part of ITGL's internal IT team, the IT Support apprentice will:
  • Solve technical IT related problems when colleagues require assistance
  • Action requests on a variety of different IT platforms and systems
  • Advise ITGL employees on best practice
  • Assist in the development and formalisation of ITGL's IT systems, tools, and infrastructure
  • Create user guides and videos for education and training purposes
  • Create and update documentation
  • Maintain the IT asset registers
  • Source or create software solutions to support the business
  • Liaise and collaborate with third party IT providers


Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Ability to manage time, prioritise work, and work flexibly to deadlines
  • Good technical knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office

Desired qualifications

  • You must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject (e.g. a degree or masters in a similar subject)
  • A-level or equivalent in IT

  • To be eligible to work in the UK and not in full-time education
  • To have lived in the UK and/or EU forthreeyears or more
