Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
  • Creating new web-based software applications and extensions to support customer projects.
  • Developing functional prototypes and software solutions as part of innovation projects
  • Working on the tools that support our development process.
  • Build a strong network of relationships across the business, in order to deliver accurate and timely solutions

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Understanding of JavaScript/Python or similar programming language
  • Understanding of basic user experience concepts and approaches
  • Understanding of SQL & database
  • Understanding of REST and web services concepts
  • Understanding of Java programming language
  • Understanding of agile software development concepts and working in a team environment

Personal qualities

  • A team player willing to learn and be part of a distributed team
  • Ability to self-manage tasks to get the job done
  • Attitude to learn new things and quickly adapt to change

Desired qualifications

•5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
