The ideal candidate will learn and understand general engineering practices including:

Things to consider
Pay increase per annum in line with government guidelines but also dependant on progression with on the job learning and college studies.
Things to consider:
- Measuring, marking out, drilling & tapping
- Operating band saw
- General fabrication and welding
- Basic machining (milling m/c and lathe)
- Assembly of conveyor systems using hand and power tools
- General office/workshop housekeeping
On occasion it may be necessary to work at weekends and/or away from home for short periods to learn the installation side of the business.
Future progression to:
- 2D CAD design for standard and bespoke conveyors and components
- Production of detailed 2D CAD layouts for proposals and projects
- Compilation of cost estimates using CCS standard pricing schedule
- Routine liaison with suppliers and end-users
- Routine administration duties incl. upkeep of CCS server records
- Project implementation support roles
