What will the apprentice be doing?
As an apprentice in our team, you will be responsible for undertaking commercial and contractual matters in support of and under direction of the Senior Quantity Surveyor including preparation of budget estimates, target prices and scheme forecasts, monitoring of actual costs against budgets and performing cost and value reconciliation to ensure correct cost capture has occurred.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
As part of the apprenticeship programme you will be required to complete a 3 year RICS accredited Construction Quantity Surveying programme through a Midlands based university or online. You will be required to spend one day per week studying through day release or online.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Upon completion of the apprenticeship you will hold a degree level qualification in Quantity Surveying that will form the basis for a professional career as a Quantity Surveyor that can be progressed through to Chartered status over your career.
