Security Software Degree Apprentice

You'll be joining a specialist security team that is a trusted partner to governments worldwide, protecting critical national infrastructure and committed to the safety and security of our nation and global communities. We deal with thousands of cyber-attacks every day, so that millions of people can safely go about their daily lives and run their businesses.

You'll be joining our security team, looking at how we deliver the very best software for our security products.

You'll get to experience the full software development lifecycle of design, develop, implement, test and support.

Working with real life secure software solutions, you'll be using contemporary software development languages. It's all about human centred design, so it's important that the security solutions we create work in real life for companies both big and small.

Desired qualifications

• You'll need to achieve (or be on course to achieve) two A-Levels with a minimum of BCC grades
• You'll also need a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent) including maths and English
• Equivalent qualifications are accepted

Future prospects

Ability to assimilate into a permanent role with the BT Group on completion of the apprenticeship.
