People Systems Administrator

Band 3

The People Systems & Analytics team at Kingston are looking to appoint a computer literate, excellent communicator with strong administrative skills to provide support across the range of workforce rostering and analytics activities.

Key responsibilities include:
  • working autonomously to provide first line support on HealthRoster and ESR for employees face to face, by phone, by e-mail and by remote desktop
  • supporting the management of the rostering help email inboxes and ensure that all support calls are dealt with and/or escalated in a timely manner.
  • providing staffing cover across the People Systems & Analytics team within their range of competence
  • Assisting with data cleansing and validation exercises
  • supporting the management of smartcards
  • facilitating best practice use of people systems

This is a new role, created as part of our new people systems & analytics function to develop and share skills and knowledge across the function to strengthen the resilience of our service. The successful candidate will therefore need to be prepared to work flexibly and to actively engage in the learning and development activities offered. Rostering and analytics support are critical activities as the Trust rolls out its digital agenda for our workforce and we can offer personal development and a potential career path within the people systems team. This will be an excellent career opportunity for the right person.

You will be familiar with the Microsoft 365 software suite, including Excel, be well organised and have good administrative skills. You will also be an effective communicator both within the team and with our client users. Willingness to work flexibly and enthusiasm to learn are essential requirements.

Knowledge and experience of ESR and Healthroster would be ideal but experience of other relevant work planning, scheduling systems and workforce database systems would also be of interest.
