Our OrthTeam Centre at Spire Manchester are now recruiting a Nurse Associate to join their warm and friendly team. You will be fully supported by Senior Staff Nurses and the Management team

You will be fully supported by Senior Staff Nurses and the Management team and after 2 years working as a NA we will be able support you to complete the top up degree via our Spire Apprenticeship programme.

The OrthTeam Centre (OTC) is a brand-new Outpatients and Diagnostic private facility which opened in September 2019. This exciting joint venture between OrthTeam Consultants and Spire Healthcare is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to join a new team and be part of developing brand new Musculoskeletal service.

Duties and responsibilities

The role of the Nursing Associate is to work with the Registered Nurse and other members of the multi professional team, providing and monitoring care and contributing to the ongoing assessment, as agreed with the supervising clinician(s) and in line with the service pathways.

You will be joining a high performing team of experienced nurses who constantly receive excellent patient satisfaction feedback.

Mandatory Vaccination - New legislation from 1 April 2022: As of 1 April 2022, Spire Healthcare is required to comply with new statutory requirements, meaning that we can only lawfully engage staff who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19, or are officially exempt. This applies to workers aged 18 and over, who have direct, face to face contact with patients and any staff in scope of the regulations, will be required to provide suitable evidence that they have received two doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine, by no later than 1 April 2022, unless they can show that they are officially exempt.

The regulations will apply to frontline clinical workers as well as non-clinical workers not directly involved in patient care but who nevertheless may have direct, face to-face contact with patients, such as receptionists, ward clerks, porters and cleaners at any point, or, individuals employed in our central support services who need to attend our hospitals from time to time. If this role is determined to be in scope of the mandatory vaccination requirements, you will be informed; Spire Healthcare therefore urges all applicants to consider this before applying. Any offer to a person in a role described above, will be conditional upon proof of evidence of an approved vaccination or, official exemption.
