We believe the social aspect of wellbeing and exercise will encourage membership to our Health & Wellbeing Centres and participation in our classes, gyms, pools and sports; we are committed to create opportunities and environments for customers to exercise socially. This role is about delivering exceptional customer service in all aspects of your duties in the achievement of this and assisting customers reach their individual fitness goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide at all times an exceptional level of customer care to members and public alike by adhering to YMCA customer care standards.

- Maintain a high presence on gym floor, interacting and assisting with members and their needs and be proactive in developing a social environment and positive relationships with customers.

- Assist the Health & Wellbeing Instructor in the arrangement and delivery of gym inductions, and fitness programmes as directed.

- Assist the Health & Wellbeing Instructor in the delivery of gym based activities and retention strategies as directed.

- Complete sales-tours, price presentations, telephone enquiries and email responses to prospective members and be fully engaged in the sales and membership procedures.

- Promote the member Journey by responding to membership referrals, customer feedback, retention phone calls and emails as directed.

- Assist the reception team handling telephone enquiries and bookings when required and be conversant with the Health & Wellbeing membership software.

- Promote, assist and be aware of all classes, gym, pool and sports related activities and participate in fundraising and promotional events as requested.

- Be conversant in current trends in Health and Wellbeing and keep abreast of new initiatives and developments in the Health and Wellbeing Industry.

- Sign post members to other services offered by the YMCA that may be relevant to their
