What will the apprentice be doing?
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Assist trading standards officers with their statutory duties and team projects which will include test purchasing of age-restricted goods, inspections of business premises, seizing of non-compliant goods and exhibiting of evidence.
- To support the LTS Intelligence Team with their roles and function in support of the Strategic, Tactical and Operational tasking and coordination processes within LTS.
- Evaluate and interpret material relating to investigations and Intelligence development.
One apprenticeship will be based at Hammersmith & Fulham Council whereas the other you will be working for London Trading Standards who are currently hosted at H&F Council. Our Trading Standards Apprenticeship consists of two 24-month long opportunities to build on your organisational and communication skills and apply your 'can-do' attitude whilst working towards a Regulatory Compliance qualification or an Intelligence Analyst qualification at Level 4.What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
