Apprentice Administrator - Acute, Complex Care and LAC Admin

Salary - £8385.00

37.5 hours per week

We welcome applications from individuals wishing to become an Apprentice and gain experience in the NHS. You will develop new skills and knowledge whilst working with an established team gaining valuable work experience and a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Duties included:
  • Ensuring clinics have appropriate documentation
  • Management of correspondence
  • Ability to communicate well with staff of all grades and disciplines.
  • Filing in clinical records and ensuring notes are tracked accordingly
  • Utilise IT skills.
  • Support secretarial staff with their duties
  • Receive and redirect referrals electronically to other Health Care Professionals

    Children and Young People's Health Services is a diverse service providing both community and acute healthcare to the population of Rotherham. The post holder will be expected to provide administrative support to all services in the CSU including:
  • The Children's Ward and Children's Assessment Unit
  • SCBU
  • Children's Outpatients
  • PARROT
  • Children's Complex Care team
  • LAC service

The cost of undertaking a DBS disclosure will be met by the individual. This will be deducted from your first month's salary. The current price of a standard check is £23 and an enhanced check is £40.
