Are you a college leaver/graduate looking to start you career? Castle Trust Bank are looking for a Data Analyst Apprentice to join their team.
A great opportunity for a college leaver/graduate to join the Regulatory Reporting team at Castle Trust Bank as we look to build out the reporting capabilities of the newly licenced bank.
You will have an interest in working with data set and using Excel and similar products. Training will be provided by the company alongside Kaplan.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports. Ensure the accurate and timely preparation and submission of all required regulatory reports covering a UK bank and holding company including COREP, FINREP and Bank of England reporting
- Documentation of procedures. Preparation and maintenance of accurate and detailed desktop procedures
- Process improvements. Help to review processes and suggest improvements and changes that could be made to improve the speed and accuracy of reporting
- Assistance with automation of reporting. Mapping of data points from the data systems to import files
- New reporting implementation. Participate in the research and implementation of new and revised regulatory reporting requirements, initially in relation to the implementation of CRR2. Alongside this there will be a need to evaluate regulatory requirements for new product offerings
- Develop regulatory knowledge. Develop a strong understanding of the regulations around the Castle Trust product set to establish the team as a centre of excellence within the business for all questions related to the regulations and reporting
- Ad-hoc projects and reporting as and when required

- Some experience of working with and manipulating large data sets
Personal qualities
- An interest learning about regulated banking and capital markets in the UK for a mortgage lending business
- Self-starter who is confident managing their own time
- Enjoy working in a team
- Confident communicating with people
Desired qualifications
- A-level at grade A-C (or equivalent)
