The Trust will support you in this duty by providing ongoing training, support and advice and have a Corporate Safeguarding Team who can be contacted for guidance and the provision of safeguarding supervision.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Administrative Area Lead to the West Area.

You will be joining a leading organisation that is both forward thinking and innovative. Southern Health is committed to improving the quality of child health services across Hampshire and takes pride in rewarding the success of its staff.

As the Administrative Area Lead you will assist the 0-19 clinical teams in the development and maintenance of a quality administrative service across a defined area. You will be required to provide high level support to the Area Managers and Clinical Team Leads in all aspects of activity relating to the Business Unit function: Developing and maintaining close working relationships with key personnel, ensuring effective communication and workflow in all aspects of the business.

You will also be required to use initiative, working autonomously in referring issues to other relevant parties as appropriate, ensuring confidentiality and security of information is maintained at all times, whilst providing good customer service experience for all staff and patients/customers. The role will include managing, supervising and allocating work to the administrative team, apprentices and responsibility for the team key performance indicators, providing cross-cover support to other team's and sites across the Area as required.

A DBS check is required by the Employer for this post. The Employer will undertake an initial check at the appropriate level on appointment. As a condition of employment you are required to register with the online DBS update service and maintain this registration throughout employment.

Frontline Healthcare workers (who have face-to-face contact with service users) in England may be required to ensure they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, from 1 April, subject to Government consultation to revoke the regulations.

To work as a frontline healthcare worker from 1 April 2022 currently it will be a condition of employment to be fully vaccinated. This requirement will also apply to those in ancillary support roles such as porters or receptionists who may have social contact with patients but are not directly involved in their care.

To be fully vaccinated you must receive both doses of a Covid-19 vaccination, therefore the latest date for a first vaccination for frontline healthcare workers is 3 February 2022.

Successful applicants will be required (unless exempt*) will be asked to provide evidence of their covid vaccination status (NHS COVID Pass) or evidence that they have commenced their journey to becoming fully vaccinated by 1 st April 2022 as part the pre-employment check process i.e., booked appointment or first vaccination received.

If the required evidence cannot be provided then any offer of employment may be withdrawn.
