Employer Description
CPR are a construction recruitment specialist, our core focus is temporary labour supply in London and the South East. We work from 2 offices in Maidstone and Reading.
Travel Information:
The office is located above the main bus station in Maidstone, we also have onsite parking.
Description of Vacancy
We are looking for strong candidates to join a hardworking, friendly and professional team of administrators at our Maidstone office. We will train you in all aspects of our business in order for you to become an integral part of the team.
This is a varied role supporting our payroll and credit control department in providing an excellent service in a challenging and interesting industry. We are governed by stringent regulations and require strict attention to detail. You will have general admin duties including:
- Answering telephones
- Booking appointments
- Diary management
- Archiving
- Report writing and updating
- Assistance with the compiling of technical reports
- Managing a sales ledger
- Creating invoices
- Providing admin support to the sales team
- Engage in research and reporting for projects
- Manage customer information
- Acquire an in-depth knowledge of applicable technical information.
- Support management team

Training will be provided for all aspects of the role and full support will be provided by your manager and existing admin team.
Wage
Starting wage of £14,500 for a 32hr week.
Hours
9am – 5:30pm
1 Hour lunch break
20% paid time during working hours is given to complete training, referred to as “Off the Job Training”

Training Provided
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Standard – Business administrators have a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied in all sectors. This includes small and large businesses alike; from the public sector, private sector and charitable sector. The role may involve working independently or as part of a team and will involve developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administrative services. Business administrators develop key skills and behaviours to support their own progression towards management responsibilities.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
