Job Description:

-To learn a range of basic tasks and to gradually take on responsibility for routine monitoring;

- Support on monitoring activities for compliance with regulations and internal policies to ensure they are up to date with the relevant regulation and legislation;

-Maintain records on all key controls monitoring and risk assurance activities;

- Provide administrative support in maintaining records relating to ISO10002;

- Proactively manage diaries and diarise actions for follow up;

- Plan and organise your work, focusing on priorities to meet agreed timescales including regulatory deadlines and escalate when appropriate;

- Minute internal meetings

-Taking responsibility for personal development and growth;

- Effective prioritisation of tasks whilst managing a full workload;

- Liaise and build relationships as appropriate with colleagues;

- Answer and make telephone calls as and when required;

- File, archive, photocopy, scan documents as and when required;

- Ensure that all contact information and registers are kept up to date;

- Handle confidential information in line with the firm’s data security protocols

Training Provided:

As a Compliance/ Risk Officer Apprentice you will undertake the Compliance/ Risk Officer Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship. Completion of the apprenticeship will result in the awarding of the ICA Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering, Compliance, or Financial Crime Prevention.

Qualification Requirements:

A level education or minimum 6 GCSEs at grade C (or 4) or above, including English and Mathematics (or equivalent)

Personal Qualities & Skills:

- Enthusiastic and positive attitude with a general willingness to learn

- Strong organisational and administrative skills
