What will the apprentice be doing?
As a transport planning degree apprentice in our Transport team in London, you will work with a team of experts on tasks such as; Assisting with the feasibility, design, consultation and implementation of high profile highway schemes, working within a team to produce designs, drawings, reports and estimates for construction projects and working on the design of implementation of safety improvement schemes, liaising with internal colleagues and with our clients.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will attend Aston University (on a block release basis) to study a Transport Planning degree apprenticeship and gain a bachelors qualification, as well as completing your End Point Assessment. You will also be enrolled onto a bespoke internal development programme to help you to attain the knowledge, skills and behaviours to successfully achieve your apprenticeship, and support your career in Transport.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
As this is a permanent position, after gaining your degree, WSP will continue to be committed to your learning and development throughout your career with us. You will have the opportunity to work towards gaining Chartered status with your chosen institution, as well as the opportunity to pursue your further study and training goals.

BTEC or equivalent Ext L3 in relevant subject area (Grade DDM or above) Desired
