What will the apprentice be doing?
Part of a small quality team responsible for ensuring products purchased, kitted and suppled to our customers meet the requirements of the specification. The role will require direct interaction with our customers, staff members and suppliers. There will be a requirement for quality investigations, report writing, internal audits, supplier audits, customer site audits, following problem solving processes, use of some measuring equipment etc. There will be requirement to take ownership of your own workload and time frames, ensuring communication throughout all elements the business.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence. You will be expected to work towards the Quality Practitioner Standard Level 4, with support from your employer and Learning Unlimited.
As part of your apprenticeship and dependent on your prior attainment you may be required to complete maths, and English Functional Skills which is an integral part of your apprenticeship.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Learning Unlimited continues to develop strong relationships with employers and we encourage any organisation considering recruiting an apprentice to support them to progress onto a higher apprenticeship level, or offer full time employment at the end of their apprenticeship.

Things to consider
Normal working hours, although there may occasionally be a need to work out side of these in extraordinary circumstances, this would be compensated by time off in lieu.
