We'll betyou didn't think that analysing data had a big place in Communications, right? Well-you'd be wrong. We love data and we love analysing it, learning fromitand sharing the story it tells. We make decisions on well-understood data that improves not only what we do as a business, but also what we offer to our customers.

And we don't just collect information. We analyse it and try to spot trends, identify patterns, or find customer 'needs' within it that helps us make good decisions for our customers and our business.
  • Throughout your apprenticeship, your role will be tosupport the Data teamandassure the quality and availability of data to the business
  • You'll be there to ensure our data jobs run smoothly and efficiently and driving automation wherever we can
  • On top of that, you'llcollect,organiseand study data to provide business insight
  • We'll get youinvolvedinmanaging, cleansing,abstractingand aggregating data, and conducting a range of analytical studies on that data
  • Working across a variety of projects, you'll help to provide technical data solutions to a range of stakeholders about customers issues
  • You'lldocument and report the results of data analysis activities& ultimatelymakerecommendations to improve business performance

Our Data team is spread across the UK and comprises of Subject Matter Experts who you will get to learn fromevery day.
  • It'sa really analyticaljob and you'll need an eye for detail, but you'll always be learning new skills and techniques to really help buildyour career
  • If you've got some good skills with PowerPoint and Excel, then they would really help with this role.
  • By the end of your apprenticeship, you'll be able to help the business make decisions through research and insight - areally criticalrole

Desired qualifications

  • You'll need to achieve a minimum of two A-Levels with a minimum of CC grades
  • You'll also need fiveGCSEs at grades 4-9 (C or above) including English and maths
  • Equivalent qualifications are accepted
  • Please note: All of our apprentice schemes are subject to eligibility criteria

Future prospects

  • Ability to assimilate into a permanent role with the BT Group on completion of the apprenticeship
