We require a time served Mechanical / Multi-Skilled Craftsperson with extensive post apprenticeship to join the team.

You will be required to work alternating day and night shifts 4 on 4 off & provide annual leave cover for colleagues when required.The average weekly hours are 42 per week.

Salary is Agenda for Change Band 4 plus rostered overtime,shift allowance & annual leave cover for colleagues.

Please be aware that you will be required to complete a DBS check.

Main duties of the job

You will be a Qualified Mechanical Fitter with multi skilled experience, experience of working on steam raising equipment is essential. You should be fully conversant with all aspects of engineering services, steam and condense installations, H.V.A.C. plant, buildings maintenance and DHW services.

A sound knowledge of gas/oil-fired steam raising equipment is essential.

The role will be dealing with critical plant on site.

  • City & Guilds / NVQ 3 in Mechanical Engineering / Fitting or equivalent


Desirable

  • Recognised & registered Apprenticeship


Knowledge, Skills, Experience

Essential

  • Fully time served craftsperson.
  • Proven experience in a similar role or hospital environment.
