Detailed Job Description:

Remit are delighted to be recruiting a Production Chef Apprentice on behalf of the Ilkley Moor Vaults, Ilkley LS29 9HD. The Ilkley Moor Vaults is a much loved pub at the heart of the local community.Your duties will include:- Preparing food- Cooking items from the set menu- Identifying correct ingredients and portion sizes- Assisting in setting up the kitchen- Storing food in line with food safety regulations and good practice- Assisting with stock rotation

Skills Required:

Passionate about food with experience of cooking (at home will do!)Great team workerOrganised

Personal Qualities:

Punctual, keen to learn and willing to work unsocial hours including evenings and weekends

Can you manage on the salary (GBP129 pw)?How will you get home after a late shift? - check the transport, especially Sundays!Are you willing to commit to the length of the apprenticeship (14 months)?
