What will the apprentice be doing?
To assist the directors with the following: Deal with compliance matters including preparation and submission of annual Tax Returns for individuals, sole traders and partnerships Liaise with HMRC on client's tax issuesAssist with ad hoc project work, such as work on capital gains tax computations, P11Ds etc
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You'll learn about budgeting, management accounting, preparing financial statements, accounting systems, and tax. This level builds on the knowledge you gained in the Advanced Diploma (Level 3).The course is made up of three mandatory units (also known as subjects), one synoptic unit, and five optional units. You must pass all the mandatory assessments, synoptic assessment, and two optional unit assessments to achieve the qualification.The areas you will cover include:Financial Statements of Limited CompaniesManagement Accounting: BudgetingManagement Accounting: Decision and ControlProfessional synoptic assessment (Accounting Systems and Controls)Optional Units:Business TaxPersonal TaxExternal AuditingCash and Treasury ManagementCredit Management
