Job Details
This is an innovative and exciting opportunity for a level 3 apprenticeship in Business Administration within the Patient Safety Team for Bank Investigations at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. The post holder will support the administrative functions of Serious Incident Investigations and Complaints, to enable learning and developments in patient care and safety, reducing risk and improving patient experience, in line with agreed timeframes and protocols.The post-holder will have opportunities to become conversant and competent in customer service and administrative support, working alongside staff within the department, under supervision. Communication will be needed with a range of internal and external stakeholders and partners. This will run alongside gaining knowledge and experience by undertaking training to the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard.
The Bank Investigations team is a new and growing are of the Patient Safety Team based in the Trusts' Quality Governance Department. You will be based in one of the locations of the Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust and/or working from home subject to relevant Trust guidance. We are a supportive and friendly team who will help you develop the skills and experience to progress your career.

To contribute to the administrative work within the team.
To gain an understanding of how the team functions by providing support as required whilst gaining knowledge and experience and by undertaking training in the following:
- Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard
- Functional Skill Level 2 in Maths If Applicable
- Functional Skill Level 2 in English If Applicable
Knowledge-based off the job training will take place during the 21 months of the Apprenticeship. The Apprentice must complete 20% off the job training to be eligible for the Apprenticeship.

- Good standard of general education to GCSE level (or equivalent) to include GCSE in English and Maths at Grade 4/Grade C or above

- RSA1 or similar IT qualification

- Microsoft Office software experience
