The role will be to assist the business with day to day duties, which include the following:
  • Assisting with tax calculation for the business and clients
  • Using various support systems to prepare reports
  • Ensuring all documents are filed in a timely and responsible manner adhering to the organisations policies and produces
  • Preparation of accounts
  • General bookkeeping
  • Ensuring information is corrected, calculated and entered using the correct software and processes
  • The requirement of electronic journals
  • Payroll administration
  • Entering payroll data
  • Assisting within inbound and outbound calls
  • Ensuring information is corrected, calculated and entered using the correct software and processes
  • Ensuring all documents are filed in a timely and responsible manner adhering to the organisations policies and produces
  • Preparation of accounts and assisting with invoices
  • Liaising with colleagues to support where required
  • General admin dutiesincluding reception duties, filing of paperwork, post, emails and answering calls


Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a confident professional telephone manner
  • Good organisational skills
  • Well organised
  • Knowledge of Sage would be beneficial, but not essential
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office packages e.g. Excel
  • Understanding of Cloud
