Apprentice Building Services Engineer

What will the apprentice be doing?

• Joining our team of engineers and support staff based in Derby, in the exciting role of Apprentice Building Services Engineer
• Covering all aspects of the company including Project Management, Design, CAD, Surveying etc.
• Undertake detailed building services, design and calculations using software and skills learned.
• Represent the company at design / progress meetings with clients and architects.
• Liaison with Site staff to ensure the smooth transition between office and site based works.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

A Level 4 qualification in Construction and Built Environment that meets the knowledge requirements of the standard and is approved by the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers as meeting the educational requirements for EngTech LCIBSE

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

NVQ or SVQ Level 3 or equivalent Relevant in Construction or Engineering (Grade Merit or above) Essential
