16 Months

Job Description:

  • Assist with maintaining up-to-date and accurate personnel records covering the employee life cycle including absence, joiners, leavers and contract changes, with due regard for confidentiality and security, including maintaining the HRIS system for the London office.
  • Manage and action key dates (i.e. contract expiry dates, probationary completion, and visa expiry dates) in a timely manner.
  • Manage and coordinate the processes for new joiners, leavers, maternity, secondment and any other leave or staff changes.
  • Maintain benefits, holiday and sickness records for all staff.
  • Along with the HR Assistant, act as the first point of contact for all HR services across the London office.
  • Report any amendments on payroll to the CAPDO.
  • Assist with supporting and facilitating the development of HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide support and conduct research for the CAPDO.
  • Undertake other ad hoc duties or project work, temporarily or on a continuing basis, as may be required.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of all company and employee documentation and information.
  • Any other duties that fall within the parameters of this role.

Training Provided:

As a HR Support Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the HR Support Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship, which is aligned with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Upon completion you will be awarded the CIPD Foundation Certificate and you will be able to apply for Membership of CIPD.

The apprenticeship will be delivered through a blend of live online learning, pre-recorded lectures, and face to face inductions and masterclasses.

Qualification Requirements:

English and Maths GCSE level 4 and above

Personal Qualities & Skills:

Proactive, punctual, show attention to detail, ability to maintain confidentiality, strong administration, interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills. Adaptability, flexibility, can do attitude, ability to work as part of a team and independently, calm under pressure, professional appearance and professional conduct.

All microsoft packages, training will be provided on HRIS system.
