What will the apprentice be doing?
On joining our Apprenticeship programme you will work across our Property Data and Regional Valuation Units, surveying and valuing properties for either Council Tax or Non Domestic Rating. Once you have undertaken relevant training and developed your confidence you'll be given responsibility for your own caseload. But that doesn't mean you'll be left to cope alone - as a key member of the team, you'll be supervised and supported by an experienced Chartered Valuation Surveyor.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Off-the-job training will be provided by the University College of Estate Management (UCEM). On completion you will achieve a Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) accredited BSc (Hons) in Real Estate Management. Rather than attending formal lectures or classes, you'll study using UCEM's state-of-the-art online learning environment and digital library, supported with guidance from highly experienced tutors.

Once you have completed your apprenticeship you will be a qualified Chartered Surveyor and eligible for an SEO Chartered Surveying role in the Valuation Office Agency.
