What will the apprentice be doing?
Environmental Practitioners will combine a high level of knowledge and understanding of environmental principles and techniques to complex environmental systems. Their expertise will be developed, adaptable or transferable to a range of environmental specialisms, which could include, environmental policy and legislation, air quality, climate change, energy, water resources, waste management, ecology, acoustics, land contamination, sustainability, landscape or heritage.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
In addition to working on cutting edge projects with Waterman, you will also be studying for a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science at Kingston University. You will also experience the following learning activities:
Workplace shadowing
Mentoring
Technical including Software, People Skills and Health & Safety Training
Periodic In-house Training from internal or external resource
Webinars and e-learning

There are great opportunities to progress your career and experience a diverse range of learning & development opportunities with Waterman. Many of our Apprentices eventually go on to achieve Chartered status.

Qualifications
GCSE or equivalent 5 including English Language and Maths (Grade 9-4 or A*- C) Essential
A Level or equivalent 2 A Levels Geography, Sciences, Geology or Maths (Grade A*-C) Essential
BTEC or equivalent Science or Engineering related (Grade DMM) Essential
