What will the apprentice be doing?
In this apprenticeship, you will develop the skills to collect, organise and study data to provide business insights to specifically support the company's outer space sustainability operations. You will be involved with managing, cleansing, abstracting and aggregating data, and conducting a range of analytical studies on data sets.

This is a Level 4 Higher Data Analyst Apprenticeship with a Foundation Degree is Business Computing. Training will be provided one day a week at New College Durham. The role itself can be based either from our Head Office in Alnwick, Northumberland or our Orbit Office at NETPark, Sedgefield.
The opportunity to carry out additional training in areas such as programming languages will also be made available.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
This apprenticeship has the potential to lead onto a Orbital Analyst role within the company. We aim to provide a creative further training and education programme to further develop the apprentice. This may include sponosorship for a Astrophysics degree at Durham University, or Space Law and Policy at Northumbria University. Additionally, the apprenticeship has the potential for some travel in the UK and abroad.
