Job Details
Humber NHS Foundation Trust delivers community care services across Scarborough, Malton, Pocklington, and Whitby. We are developing and delivering a 'One Community' transformation model across all our community sites, and an exciting new opportunity has arisen for a skilled, passionate, and motivated individual to undertake an apprenticeship providing administrative/secretarial support to the Community Services leadership teams.
This post is part time, 30 hours per week working Monday - Friday with 20% of the time spent in off the job training towards the apprenticeship. Location can be flexible for the successful applicant, and blended home and office working can be considered, as per Trust policy.
Starting salary is Band 2 with progression to Band 3 on completion of the apprenticeship.

Main duties of the job
The role will involve a commitment to complete an apprenticeship whilst providing administrative/secretarial support to the Community Service Managers, Locality Matrons, Therapy Lead, Team Leads, and Clinical Leads with contribution to the planning and development of services as a member of the team. The successful candidate will work autonomously and will be responsible for developing administration support systems and will also be responsible for the administration of meetings.
The successful candidate will need to possess excellent communication skills, efficient time management skills, sound experience of IT systems and Microsoft software packages, and an ability to effectively commute between sites as required and be prepared to adapt to the changing needs of the Trust and community model of care. This is an opportunity to be involved in supporting delivery of an integrated model across a range of community healthcare services.
