What will the apprentice be doing?
Successful candidates will enter into a challenging and rewarding career at DTE and will gainthe opportunities and experience to reach their ultimate goals in the accountancy profession.
We have a diverse client portfolio and you will be involved in various types of work, including but not limited to:
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will study towards the ACA qualification (ICAEW) with BPP Professional Education.
This will be under a block release scheme, with classes taking place either online or in Manchester city centre.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Once ACA qualified, there is opportunity to progress to Senior Audit and Accounts Executive.

Things to consider
We welcome graduates from any degree discipline. Requirements are minimum 2.1 expected or obtained, plus 280+ UCAS points from top 3 A Levels and 5 GCSEs at grades 4-9 (A*-C) including 5 (B) in Maths and English. As part of the audit team, travel to clients' premises is required and the ideal candidate will hold a valid UK Driving Licence.

- Accounts Preparation, both for unincorporated and incorporated entities
- Corporation tax computations
- Preparation of management accounts
