What will the apprentice be doing?
A varied and interesting role in a fast growing Accountancy and Tax firm.
The role will include the following:
1. Analysis of clients tax records
2. Preparation of US and UK Tax Returns
3. Calculation of US and UK Tax liabilities
4. Dealing with correspondence from HM Revenue and Customs and The IRS
5. Basic tax planning calculations.
6. Handling submission of Tax Returns.
7. Other tasks as required by your Line Manager or the Managing Director
Full in-house training will be provided to the successful applicant.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The apprentice will study initially for their Association of Taxation Technician (ATT) qualification, following the successful completion of this qualification they will undertake study for their Chartered Institute of Taxation (CTA) qualification. This is the highest Tax Qualification.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
The company is fast growing, so there is anticipated to be significant potential for progression during and after the apprenticeship. Routes will depend upon the specific areas of tax the individual is intrested in pursuing in greater detail once qualified.
