Job Description:
Regular Office Based Tasks
Stock management, both for client and for internal use.
- Meeting room management.
- Answer Main Office Calls (Non support calls).
- Manage travel and accommodation requirements.
- Organise WEEE collections
- Assist Company Directors with calendars
Finance Tasks
- Match Purchase Orders and ensure charges are correctly applied.
- Assist with ad hoc and monthly billing runs.
- Chase outstanding balances with clients.
- Produce some management reports.
HR & Marketing Tasks
- Assist with new starter and leave process.
- Organise some staff benefits.
- Administration of ongoing marketing.
- Respond to online enquiries on a Live Web Chat.
- Manage hospitality events.
Training Provided:
As a Business Administration Apprentice with BPP, you will undertake the Business Administrator Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship.
The apprenticeship will be delivered through a blend of live online learning, pre-recorded lectures and workplace support.
Qualification Requirements:
Minimum of 5 GCSE's = All graded above 5 or 6
Personal Qualities & Skills:
General Microsoft Office skills, Word and Excel.
A good, polite, telephone manner.
The ability to work as part of a team, but be able to learn and think for yourself.
Excellent organisational skills are vital.
The 3 P's are fundamental to the role; Politeness, Punctuality and Professionalism.
A friendly, approachable team ethic.
Future Prospects:
Working under the Finance and HR manager, opportunities will arise to move into a more specific area as the company grows. The ability to have some input into how and when such roles materialise is one of the added bonuses of the role.
