GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade 2 GCSEs A*-C or equivalent) Essential
A Level or equivalent Maths and English Language (Grade min of 2 A*- D or equivalent) Essential
Your two year development programme will be made up of up to four placement rotations.
- Each placement will see you undertaking a wide variety of responsibilities that increase with your development on the scheme.
- You'll start by learning simple procurements to understand the business; by the end of the scheme you'll be running tenders, processing payments, managing contracts and engaging with stakeholders and suppliers, and have an extensive understanding of commercial thinking and strategies.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- You will be working towards a L4 Diploma in Procurement & Supply with the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS)
- Typically, you'll attend college and complete off the job learning one day a week.
- You'll receive one-to-one support throughout the programme from your scheme sponsor and your Line Manager
- Whilst on the scheme we'll support your technical development through a wide range of on-the-job practical experiences and placements
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Upon successful completion of this scheme, you could roll-off into a Commercial Officer or Assistant Commercial Manager role, dependent on your performance throughout the scheme.
- Further career development opportunities such as a Commercial Manager, Senior Commercial Manager, Head of Commercial, Commercial Director
- Successfully completing the Level 4 Diploma means you'll become eligible for membership at the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).
