Job Details
An enthusiastic, positive and motivated Nurse or Operating Department practitioner is invited to apply for a band 6 post for a maternity theatre coordinator. The clinical element of this role is based on surgical scrub skills and the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge and skills displaying a high level of competence and flexibility within the role.
This is an ideal opportunity for an established Band 6 to enhance their leadership and management skills to embrace the opportunity of working in a different clinical specialty / environment.
We are looking for a conscientious and patient focused individual who wants to join and lead our team in delivering excellent standards of clinical care to our patients. You must be dynamic, and have great leadership skills and be able to demonstrate vision to improve the service.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant must be forward thinking and a professional role model who is able to lead and motivate the staff in the provision of high quality care and capable of fostering and building strong working relationships with all members of the multidisciplinary team. This post will involve pre-op, maternity theatre, scrubbing, training, coordinating a multidisciplinary team, completing audits, stocking within the maternity theatres.
