Main duties of the job

Inpatient Autism Services have an exciting opportunity available for a Clinical Nurse Lead who is a Registered General Nurse to come and support our team!

The Band 6 Registered General Nurse would be supported within a full MDT of multi professionals and our site General Practitioner.

Within Autism and Learning Disability services we have patient admitted to our services from all around the country to have specialist inpatient interventions around their autism. Our patients, along side their Autism they at times have complex physical conditions which we feel a General Nurse would enhance the patient experience and clinical outcomes for our patients.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide care and support to patients who require physical health interventions, guidance or monitoring.

We are seeking confident individuals who are keen to contribute to the delivery of high quality nursing care and service development. You should have a strong interest, and substantial experience of, working with patients with physical health needs. You should have a high level of resilience and patience and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to demonstrate a warm, patient centred approach to care.
