What will the apprentice be doing?
-Support of office systems and databases
-Maintanence of Synoptix databases
-Supporting contributions to synoptix websites and other media outlets
-Learning to use modelling and analyses tools
-Supporting the creation of statements of work for clients
-Responding to invitations to tender
-Project co-ordination in support of work package delivery
The successful candidate will be exposed to all areas of Synoptix business.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Digital & Technology Solutions Level 6 (Degree Apprenticeship). This comprises four years of funded academic study and workplace training, resulting in a BSc (hons) Digital and Technology Solutions Degree.
Synoptix offers a training programme developing the skills required for a career as a Systems Engineer. This will include developing new skills and understanding how to maximise business opportunities through the application of Systems Engineering excellence and best practice.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Permanent employment and the opportunity to continue education to Masters and Chartered Engineer and beyond while continuing to progress your career.

You will need to develop a resilient character with an ability to be diplomatic but also be able to deliver robust coherent arguments. There will be opportunities to work with customers in chosen areas of expertise.

Things to consider
Apprentices will ideally already have three A Levels at grade C or above, preferably in related subjects such as mathematics, science and IT, or a BTEC Extended Diploma at MMM or other qualifications equivalent to 96 UCAS tariff points, in addition to Level 2 (GCSE Grade 4/C or above or Functional Skills L2) in English and mathematics.
