What will the apprentice be doing?
As part of our Apprenticeship Programme, working within our Structural Engineering Design team, you will develop your skills and knowledge whilst working on high-profile engineering design projects for a diverse client base, gaining valuable work experience at the same time as earning a competitive salary. This hands-on experience is complimented by one day per week at university.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will be studying for a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering, as well as completing your End Point Assessment and achieving Incorporated Engineer status with the Institute of Civil Engineering.
In addition to this, at Waterman you will experience the following learning activities:
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Having achieved Incorporated Engineer status, you will have started your journey towards becoming a fully Chartered Civil Engineer with the ICE. There are excellent opportunities to develop your career with Waterman Group.

A Level or equivalent 3 A Levels to include maths and a physical science (Grade B (in maths) B, C or above) Essential
BTEC or equivalent L3 Extended Diploma - Engineering related (Grade DDM or above) Essential
