What will the apprentice be doing?
I am self employed, and the role would be a sports coach who would support me with delivering sessions, setting up equipment for sessions and activities during the sessions. They would have 1-2-1 support from to help them develop their coaching skills. The role would be at various locations, local nurseries, schools and community sessions giving the traineeship a well rounded experience of coaching different age groups and in different settings.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The programme will consist of online training, webinars, practical workshops and workplace visits from a tutor.
The qualifications you will achieve will be a level 2 coaching qualification if required and a Level 4 sports coach apprenticeship standard.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Full time position, further training and progression available.
