Job Details
Duties
Visiting sites to showcase the activities, achievements & progression of installations & organisational activities.
Maintain the CMB website & social media platforms to promote the commercial & CSR activities of the organisation.
Procuring marketing & promotional content to support the business's needs.
Working closely with the local community, charities & local businesses to develop working relationships.
Consistently promoting events & activities taking place at Llanrumney Hall.
Engaging with the online community & using the social media platforms & website as a key resource to communicate the Trusts activities to the community.
Publishing on social media; updating the website regularly; procuring advertisement & marketing content; regular photography; developing brand merchandise; promoting online fundraising platforms to increase revenue.
Maintain the House of Sport website & social media platforms.
Liaise with the sporting groups to promote their activities.
Coordinate & promote activities with the football academy.
Work in agreement with the Vale of Glamorgan College to promote the college's functions.
Promote any forthcoming events
Produce marketing & promotional content such as company magazines, monthly newsletters, posters, leaflets, brochures, banners etc.
Creating & editing video & picture content for various marketing & promotional projects.
Monitoring & maintaining all Social Media Channels.
Provide Customer Service support for all queries.

As the Marketing & Communications Assistant, you will be assisting the Marketing & Communications Manager in creating and implementing the business' digital, marketing and social media strategy for CMB Engineering, Llanrumney Hall Community Trust and Cardiff City House of Sport. This role offers you the rare opportunity to work for 3 different businesses in 1, allowing you to maximise on the experience and learning opportunities available. These 3 companies different marketing approaches in order for them to be a success.
The right applicant for this role will be able to manage and allocate their time (with the support of the Marketing & Communications Manager) to proactively deliver the marketing needs as required. They will have the capacity to grow an understanding of the varying needs of these organisations and how best to meet these needs.

The right applicant will be resourceful, proactive, have a keen eye for detail and an attention to detail when delivering work. They will have strong communication skills and a willingness to develop within the role.

Experience creating artwork positively promoting business achievements.

A confident understanding of a range of Social Media platforms and how to utilise them to enhance turnover via bookings and sales.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator (recommended but not essential).
Experience in Filming and Video content editing (recommended but not essential).
Must have a full UK driver's licence in order to commute between the multiple sites. If not yet achieved a desire to pass the diving test.

ALS eligibility
Please note that ALS our training providers have their own eligibility in order to provide the funding required to undertake an apprenticeship. You may not be eligible to apply if:
- you already hold a qualification at Level 3 or above in ICT, Software, Web and Telecoms or a similar subject
- you already hold a qualification at Level 3 or above in Business Administration, Customer Service or a similar subject
What are the benefits?
How much will I be paid?
You will earn £19,240 a year while training. When you pass your apprenticeship you can apply for a permanent job at the Welsh Government. Within 2 years of starting your apprenticeship you could be earning £22,500.
You will get 31 days holidays as well as 10 public and privilege days. We offer flexible working arrangements to help you get the right work/life balance. You will also be eligible for membership of the Civil Service Pension Scheme
